Italy’s countryside is depopulating, old towns are falling to ruins because young people go to the cities to study and work. To stop this trend some investors bought up these old houses, restored them and made turned them into hotels. The ‘albergo diffuso’ concept was born.  Here’s one in Termoli, a small town in Molise, the region 2 hours east of Naples.
